Established in 1784, Viyella was originally the name of the fabric. The first branded fabric in the world, it was a patented mix of 55% wool and 45% cotton. Due to the comforts of modern life, the blend has changed slightly but Viyella are still known for wonderful checks and plaids and we’ve selected three fine examples to grace your autumn wardrobe.
